During my childhood, I noticed numerous individuals dedicating their time to teach the underprivileged without any financial gain. At the time, I could not grasp why they would spend their efforts where no direct benefit was apparent. Looking back now, I realize that what seemed naive was actually a profound act of empowering their community.

Yes, for those who are educated, imparting knowledge to the underprivileged stands as a foundational act of community empowerment. By educating others, raising awareness about the importance of education, and inspiring them to pursue quality education, one can significantly contribute to the upliftment of the community.

The second step that educated individuals can take is to provide training in their area of expertise. They can impart practical skills such as painting, crafting soft toys, cooking, marketing, carpentry, plumbing, computer literacy, and more. These skills require quality training over time. Moreover, by teaching others, you also test your own ability to train, which is a valuable trait for an entrepreneur.

If teaching is not your preference, you can still play an active role in your community. Organize regular gatherings to discuss topics like good habits, personal development, time management, social work, current events, cleanliness, family matters, and children’s futures.
